Draymond Green Names The Unsung Hero For The Denver Nuggets
If the Denver Nuggets win the NBA Finals, chances are that Nikola Jokic will be named Finals MVP, and rightfully so.
But as spectacular as Jokic and Jamal Murray have been throughout this entire playoff run, Aaron Gordon also deserves plenty of credit.
Recently, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green praised him for having an ‘elite pair of hands,’ comparing him to Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald.
“Aaron Gordon catches the ball underneath the rim, it don’t matter who down there, he getting a lay up or dunk”

Green stated that Gordon could catch every single pass, regardless of how good, bad, or tough it is, and then finish with a layup of a dunk.
He pointed out one of the most spectacular plays he’s done in the playoffs, a reverse layup after a high pass from Jokic.
It’s nice to see that Gordon is finally living up to his potential, getting praise and recognition, and being put in a position to succeed.
Not many people could’ve found their footing on those Orlando Magic teams, and analysts and fans were quick to label him as a bust.
But Gordon has emerged as an unsung hero for Mike Malone’s team, and it’s been that way for a while now.
He can play lockdown defense in the wing, at the top of the key, and even in the low post.
He can overmatch smaller players with his strength and athleticism, and you know he can jump through the roof.
And if he gets bored from basketball after winning the ring this season, maybe he can try his luck as a tight end in the NFL.
