Now that star running back Dalvin Cook has been released by the Minnesota Vikings, he could alter the NFL’s landscape depending on which team he decides to sign with as a free agent.

Cook is one of the game’s best at his position, and in each of the last four seasons he has run for over 1,100 yards while making the Pro Bowl.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport says the Vikings waited a little while to officially release Cook in one last attempt to trade him and get some value for him.

Now, Rapoport says there will be two teams that will have the most interest in snagging him.

The first team Rapoport says we should keep an eye on is the Miami Dolphins, a team that has been aggressively making moves lately in an effort to end a two-decade drought.

They traded for superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill last offseason, and so far this season, they have already swung another big trade for veteran star cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

The one thing the Dolphins don’t really have is a productive running back, and Cook would be just that for them.

In addition, Cook is originally from Miami and played his college ball at Florida State University.

Meanwhile, the Broncos are looking to rebound from Russell Wilson’s disastrous maiden voyage with them, and they badly need some offensive firepower.

Cook could take some pressure off the aging Wilson while freeing up wide receivers such as Tim Patrick and Courtland Sutton by making Denver’s offense less predictable.
