Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs is already one of the NFL’s all-time greats, and he has two regular-season MVPs and two Super Bowl championships to his name after just six full seasons as a starter.

The Chiefs will report to training camp this summer looking to defend their latest world title and strengthen Mahomes’ resume.

The latest edition of Madden, the popular NFL video game that features the likeness of late head coach and commentator John Madden, is about to be released, and a Twitter video promoting it featured one of Mahomes’ most iconic passes.

Mahomes has made a living scoring touchdowns and converting on third and fourth downs by throwing the type of flick passes that have given opponents nightmares.

He had one of his best seasons yet in 2022, leading the league with 5,250 passing yards, 41 touchdown passes, and a 77.6 QBR, which led to him being named the MVP of the regular season.

Despite a painful ankle injury he sustained in the Divisional round of the playoffs against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he led Kansas City to clutch wins that resulted in their second Vince Lombardi Trophy in the last four seasons.

If they are to repeat as world champs next winter, they will have to do so without JuJu Smith-Schuster, their most productive wide receiver in 2022, who is now with the New England Patriots.

Then again, they won it all this past season without the services of superstar wideout Tyreek Hill, whom they traded to the Miami Dolphins last spring.
