Analyst Says The Cowboys Are ‘Making A Mistake’ By Passing On DeAndre Hopkins

It’s been more than a while since the Dallas Cowboys last made it to the big game.

Despite being one of the most popular teams in the league, the Cowboys haven’t been to the Super Bowl in almost three decades.

That’s why NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho seems to be frustrated by the fact that they’re not interested in signing DeAndre Hopkins.

Acho pointed out the fact that the NFC is more wide-open than ever this season, as the San Francisco 49ers don’t have a legit option at QB, Aaron Rodgers left the Green Bay Packers, and the Philadelphia Eagles play in the NFC East, a division no one has been able to win in back-to-back years for several seasons.

He also cited that the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams have already laid the blueprint for success by adding more firepower to their receiving corps every time they’ve had a chance to do so.

Truth be told, the Cowboys do have a solid WR room right now, but they also have more than plenty of cap space to get an elite insurance policy in one of the best wideouts in the league in the past decade.

Of course, Hopkins may not be the player he used to be, but it doesn’t seem like the Cowboys have the benefit of shutting the door on such a dominant player when he’s up for grabs.

Hopkins will be extra motivated to prove to his doubters that he’s still got it, and the Cowboys don’t want to be on the wrong end of that battle.
