The Memphis Grizzlies entered the playoffs as the second seed in the Western Conference.

They entered the playoffs with championship expectations but failed to make it out of the first round.

Memphis is one of the most polarizing teams in the NBA because they love to talk trash.

But they were unable to back up all the talk in the playoffs.

One player who did most of the talking was forward Dillon Brooks.

Brooks talked plenty during the series, but every time the Grizzlies lost he was nowhere to be found.

Including multiple instances where he did not speak to the media.

According to Tim MacMahon, the NBA has fined Brooks $25,000 for violating the league’s media access rules.

Many people are sick of Brooks and his antics and are happy to see him knocked out of the playoffs.

Brooks also skipped media sessions more than once during this series, so the fine could have been larger.

Even though the Grizzlies’ season is over, Brooks took another loss.

He is set to be an unrestricted free agent once free agency begins.

It is reported that the Grizzlies do not want to bring Brooks back.

Brooks does not add much on the floor, except a defensive presence.

His lack of offense hurt the Grizzlies in the playoffs.

It will be interesting to see what team is willing to pay Brooks this offseason.

There seems to be a pretty good chance he will not return to Memphis.
