The Carolina Panthers traded for the No. 1 overall draft pick in what kicked off an exciting NFL offseason.

Leading up to the draft, many fans and analysts have predicted who they believe the Panthers will take.

While there have been varied opinions during this process, Bryce Young has recently emerged as the betting favorite.

In a recent segment on CBS, Jonathan Jones doubled down on this take, highlighting his reasoning for the Panthers to take Young.

“The one thing I know, pretty confidently, is that Bryce Young is going to be playing for the Carolina Panthers,” said Jones

Young won the Heisman Trophy in 2021 and established himself as one of the nation’s best quarterbacks.

However, during the pre-draft process, many have expressed concern about his size and worried about how he will perform at the next level.

While some showed concern, analysts like Jones remained confident in their assessment of Young.

“He has checked every box,” said Jones.

The Panthers are currently in rebuild mode while looking to improve their roster under Frank Reich’s leadership.

2023 will mark the first year that Reich is their head coach.

During the offseason, besides the trade for the No. 1 pick, the Panthers also added other players along the way to support their new quarterback.

Veteran players such as Adam Thielen, Miles Sanders, and DJ Chark will be welcomed additions to this roster.

After the Cam Newton era in Carolina, the team is looking for a new franchise leader.

Will they find that in Young?
