Fans React To Aaron Rodgers’ Message To Packers Fans

Another era of dominance is about to end for the storied Green Bay Packers franchise, with the team recently trading another superstar quarterback to the New York Jets.

In an interesting twist of irony, the Packers have traded Rodgers to the Jets like they shipped Brett Favre to New York in 2008.

Although this blockbuster trade has been in the works for months, with Rodgers saying he’ll be playing for the Jets next season, it wasn’t until today that Rodgers decided to officially bid farewell to the diehard Packers fans that have rooted for him throughout his entire NFL journey thus far.

Rodgers took to Instagram to say his goodbyes to Packers fans.

With the Packers and Rodgers having parted ways, it’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for both franchises, as they could be headed in different directions.

Although it’ll take some time to see whether the Rodgers experiment works in New York, the Jets are now considered a force to be reckoned with in the AFC and a potential Super Bowl title contender.

However, the Jets may have a tough time in their division next season and for the foreseeable future with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills coming on strong and the New England Patriots always being a team that can put up a fight.

As for the Packers, a lot will depend on Jordan Love and whether he’s ready to be a starter in this league.

If Love can figure things out sooner rather than later, the Packers might be in playoff contention, but if not, it could be a long rebuilding process.
