People all over the NBA world are talking about LeBron James’ Monday night performance for the Los Angeles Lakers.

James is 38 years old but he outplayed just about everyone else on the court, especially in the closing quarter of the game and overtime.

He achieved a rare 20-point, 20-rebound game and helped his team take a strong 3-1 lead over the Memphis Grizzlies.

On Tuesday morning, Colin Cowherd both praised and critiqued James’ game.

He said that Monday’s game was “LeBron at his best” but noted that he only did so well because the rest of the team wasn’t able to win on their own.

Cowherd made some fair points in his monologue.

He said that James often “lets the game come to him” which results in the Lakers starting games quietly and then getting louder as they near their end.

Cowherd said that the team will not win based on the output of players like Malik Beasley, D’Angelo Russell, and others – it’s all up to James.

He also stated that Anthony Davis will never “take the baton” from James and the dream of him becoming the team’s definitive leader will never come to fruition.

It’s amazing that James is able to do all of this at his age but there are some fans worried about how much the team relies on him.

What would happen to their playoff chances if James got hurt?

There is no way they would have won Monday night’s game without him.

He was able to once again overpower his age and lead his team to a stunning victory but, as always, James could use more help from the rest of his squad.
