The Denver Broncos are expecting to have a much better season in 2023.

At the very least quarterback Russell Wilson must play better next year.

He was a major disappointment last season and played a large role in Denver’s disaster of a year.

But Denver’s new head coach and play caller should do wonders for Wilson.

The Broncos acquired Sean Payton this offseason to be their head coach.

He is an offensive guru who should help fix the issues with Wilson.

Also, you can tell that Payton is starting to feel comfortable in Denver and in his relationship with Wilson.

According to James Palmer, Payton joked about the golf cart troubles Wilson experienced the other day on the golf course.

It is always good when the coach can take some playful jabs at his quarterback.

That means they have built a strong enough relationship where neither will take anything too personally.

Payton might be the one coach under the most pressure next season.

He needs to get things right in Denver, and it all starts on offense.

Denver has a good enough roster to make the playoff next season.

But, playing in the AFC West makes things much more difficult.

That might be the toughest division in football and they have to play the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs twice.

The offseason moves should allow the Broncos to be better next season, but at this point, it is playoffs or bust for them.
