Ohio State led by five at the half Sunday at Maryland before the Terrapins pulled away in the second half, leading by as much as 13 in an 80-73 victory. Sensabaugh scored 22 points for the Buckeyes and Sueing finished with 21 while Key was out with a shoulder injury.
Taurus Samuels drained a three-pointer with four seconds left in regulation on Saturday to send the game to overtime but Minnesota lost to visiting Nebraska 81-79. Battle led the Gophers with 20 points and Garcia had 19 points and 15 rebounds before fouling out.
The all-time series dates to 1904 and is lopsided in Ohio State’s favor 92-54. The Buckeyes swept two meetings last season, winning 75-64 in Minneapolis on Jan. 27 and 70-45 in Columbus on Feb. 15.
