LIVE: NATO holds emergency talks on Poland missile blast, reports AFP citing


‘Offer full support for & assistance with Poland’s investigation’: NATO & G7 countries in joint statement after explosion

In a joint statement after an explosion in Poland, which the country claimed was caused by missile strikes from Russia, NATO and G7 nations said that they have agreed to “remain in close touch to determine appropriate next steps as the investigation proceeds”.

The statement came after US President Joe Biden held an emergency meeting with the leaders of NATO and G7 in Bali where everyone is currently present for the ongoing G20 Summit. Leaders of Canada, the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain and the UK attended the meeting.
