When you can watch Florida’s U.S. Senate and Gubernatorial debates
The dates of Florida’s U.S. Senate and Gubernatorial debates have been revealed.The U.S. Senate debate is set to take place on Oct. 18.The gubernatorial debate will happen two days later on Oct. 20.WESH 2 will televise the debates.Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio are already the Republican nominees for re-election.We’ll know the democratic challengers next week, after the state’s primary election.Our sister station will be hosting the debates live from Palm Beach State College in South Florida.The Everglades Foundation has also joined this “Before You Vote” debate series.The debates will be broadcast statewide, but WESH 2 is the only local station where you can watch the debate in Central Florida.Related: The races to watch in Florida’s August primary electionRelated: Watch WESH 2 mini debates here
