Known daily COVID-19 cases continue to trend down in New Hampshire

Known COVID-19 cases in New Hampshire are continuing to trend down, according to data reported by state health officials.New Hampshire health officials announced 132 new cases on Monday. There is an average of 270 new cases per day over the most recent 7-day period, which is a 21% decrease compared to the previous 7-day period. The last time less than 132 new cases were reported in a day was April 10. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been 328,834 known COVID-19 cases.Two new deaths related to COVID-19 were announced on Monday, bringing the total number of COVID-19 related deaths since the start of the pandemic to 2,564.According to the New Hampshire Hospital Association, there are 90 people in the hospital who tested positive for the virus, up three from Sunday. Of those 90 people, 21 are receiving COVID-19-specific treatment, up two from Sunday.
