The Hurry-Up: Brandon Inniss and Justice Haynes Will Take Official Visits to Ohio State,
Five-star 2023 Florida wide receiver Brandon Inniss has changed his official visit plans regarding Ohio State.
Originally, Inniss planned to officially visit Columbus for the Michigan game in November. Instead, Inniss will make his official visit from June 17-19.

Inniss has also set official visits to Alabama and USC, perceived to be the Buckeyes’ main competition to land the top-ranked wide receiver in the 2023 class. While Inniss originally planned to make his decision in December, moving up his official visit could be a sign that the 6-foot, 190-pound wideout will make a commitment sooner.
Inniss visited Columbus April 1-3 with several of his seven-on-seven teammates and enjoyed his time at OSU. The Buckeyes have been in pursuit of Inniss since last summer before he eventually committed to then later decommitted from Oklahoma.
The interest is mutual on Inniss’ end.
“Coach Hartline is like no other coach,” Inniss told Eleven Warriors in January. “He breaks down the game to you in a way that no other coach will. It’s amazing to see what their receivers do in and out every single year.”
Recently, Inniss was intrigued all the more by Ohio State after seeing former OSU wideouts Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave and Jameson Williams get picked back-to-back-to-back in last weekend’s NFL draft.

Haynes sets official visit to OSU
Inniss isn’t the only big-name offensive prospect that’s locked in an official visit to OSU this summer. Four-star 2023 Georgia running back Justice Haynes told On3 he’ll make an official visit to Columbus June 24-26. Haynes will also visit Georgia, USC and Alabama before he takes his OSU visit.
“Coach Alford is definitely a big part of this for me,” Haynes told On3 of his interest in Ohio State. “Very good connection. It is more like a father-son relationship with him. It is not just football. We talk every day and it is much more than that with coach Alford. We just have a different type of relationship. Coach Day and I have that connection too. My relationships with coach Day and coach Alford really strong. They are great guys, they are coaches that care about their players, and it shows to me.”
Haynes last visited Columbus on Oct. 30 for the Penn State game. Georgia is the likely favorite to land the 5-foot-10, 200-pound running back, but Ohio State still has time to make up ground before Haynes makes a decision, which could come before the start of his senior season.
Ohio State would like to sign two running backs in 2023, and already has four-star Mark Fletcher committed. Haynes and five-star Richard Young are Ohio State’s top two remaining targets.
Green includes Ohio State on top 6
A 2023 Ohio State defensive line target is closer to making a decision. Four-star Georgia defensive lineman Stephiylan Green trimmed his school list down to six over the weekend, releasing an updated list consisting of Tennessee, Ole Miss, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State.

Green recently visited OSU on April 16 for the Buckeyes’ spring game. He is high school teammates with OSU target Martavious Collins, a four-star tight end in the 2024 class. Green was offered by OSU on Feb. 25.
Reed puts Buckeyes on top 10
It’s no secret Ohio State is in need of offensive tackles in the 2023 class. One of the Buckeyes’ top targets at that position also released an updated top schools list that includes OSU, as four-star Texas offensive lineman Ian Reed put out a top 10 over the weekend that consists of Ohio State, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.

Reed has only recently been offered by OSU, as the 6-foot-6, 290-pound prospect picked one up on his visit to Columbus for the Buckeyes’ spring game. Unlike many prominent 2023 prospects, Reed will likely take his college decision into the fall instead of making a commitment over the summer.
Bryant, Cook leave OSU off top schools list
A pair of high-profile 2023 recruits with Ohio State offers are headed in a different direction. Five-star Florida linebacker Malik Bryant and four-star wideout Johntay Cook left Ohio State off their top schools lists released Sunday.

Neither prospect’s decision to move on is terribly surprising considering the Buckeyes seem to be more invested with different prospects at each position. At linebacker, OSU’s targets include Tackett Curtis, Jaiden Ausberry, Troy Bowles, Lewis Carter, Arvell Reese and Raul Aguirre. Inniss, Carnell Tate, Noah Rogers, Rico Flores and Jalen Hale are among the top priorities for the Buckeyes at wide receiver in the current cycle.
