Minnesota in the mix for Ohio CB Joshua Fussell following a visit

“The Minnesota visit went great,” 2023 Ohio cornerback Joshua Fussell said to 247Sports. “I got to be in the position and team meetings, check out the players lounge, check out a spring practice, sit down one-on-one with CB’s coach Paul Haynes, look at the players apartments and see the facilities too. When I talked with Coach Haynes, we just talked football. So different plays, concepts and what it takes to succeed at the next level. I also got to sit in on position meeting with the corners, and it was very intuitive and in-depth with film study. I liked how locked in the players were while Coach Haynes was teaching them.”

“Their practice though was energetic and efficient, as there was no wasted time,” Fussell explained. “I got to talk with Coach Fleck after practice and we just talked about what I saw there and what not. I’d say my favorite part of the visit was seeing them practice and getting time with Coach Fleck. I just loved the energy of the team. After seeing things at Minnesota now, I feel good about them. I like them.”
