2 B1G schools reportedly pursuing standout transfer forward from Morehead State


Morehead State standout transfer Johni Broome is drawing lots of early interest, including from 2 Big Ten teams.

Travis Branham of 247Sports shared Monday that Broome has already heard from over 14 teams, including Indiana and Ohio State.

A 6-10 forward, Broome played in 34 games, all starts. Per game, he averaged a double-double of 16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds along with 3.9 blocks and 1.2 assists.

Broome, originally from Plant City, Florida, has played 2 seasons. He will have 3 seasons of remaining eligibility. It looks like he’ll have plenty of options to continue his college career.
