2 B1G schools reportedly pursuing standout transfer forward from Morehead State
Morehead State standout transfer Johni Broome is drawing lots of early interest, including from 2 Big Ten teams.
Travis Branham of 247Sports shared Monday that Broome has already heard from over 14 teams, including Indiana and Ohio State.
Morehead State transfer Johni Broome, one of the top transfers to hit the market, tells @247SportsPortal that he’s heard from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Gonzaga, LSU, NC State, Ohio State, Texas, Texas Tech and West Virginia amongst others.

A 6-10 forward, Broome played in 34 games, all starts. Per game, he averaged a double-double of 16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds along with 3.9 blocks and 1.2 assists.
Broome, originally from Plant City, Florida, has played 2 seasons. He will have 3 seasons of remaining eligibility. It looks like he’ll have plenty of options to continue his college career.
