Canfield’s Beidelschies no-hits Clay | News, Sports, Jobs


Canfield’s Landon Beidelschies got his first pitching win of the season in a big way on Friday, throwing a complete game no-hitter in a 5-0 win over Clay on the road.

Beidelschies, an Ohio State commit, struck out 13 total batters and helped himself, and the Cardinals, out at the plate going 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and two runs batted in.

The Cardinals scored three runs in the third inning, one in the fourth and their final run came in the seventh inning. All five runs came on six total hits. Junior Ethan Prout and sophomore Michael Patellis both drove in two runs as well.
