three local players earn Div. I and II All-Ohio

The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association released its All-Ohio boys basketball teams from Divisions I and II, with three local players earning all-state accolades. 

Wooster’s Drew Dossi and Micah McKee each earned honorable mention nods in Div. I and West Holmes’ Channer Wells earned special mention All-Ohio in Div. II.

Dossi and McKee led the Generals to a strong second half, putting up huge numbers as two of the only Wooster players with significant varsity experience. Dossi averaged 17.7 points and 5.1 assists and McKee averaged a double-double, putting up 16.3 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. 

Meanwhile, Wells had a huge finale to his high school career, averaging 16.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists for the Knights. 

Gahanna Lincoln’s Sean Jones and Centerville’s Gabe Cupps were co-Players of the Year in Div. I and Cincinnati Woodward’s Paul McMillan IV and St. Vincent-St. Mary’s Sencire Harris were co-Players of the Year in Div. II.
