Pirates to the OHSAA Division III Ayersville Track & Field District

Continental High Track teams were both assigned to the OHSAA Division III Ayersville Track and field district.  All schools at Ayersville will bring both their boys and girls teams as there are 19 teams in the field.  Continental is the only Putnam County League school assigned to Ayersville.  The Field is made up of the Buckeye Border Conference, all of the Northwest Conference minus Paulding, and North West Ohio Athletic League’s Delta, Archbold and Patrick Henry.

Regional assignments in the Northwest District gets interesting.  On the Girls side the top 4 from the Ayersville, Gibsonburg, Ada, and Colonel Crawford Districts all advance to the Tiffin Regional.  Northwest District Boys and Girls teams assigned to the Spencerville District will send the top 4 to the Troy Regional.  Ayersville will send the top 6 boys, Gibsonville and Ada will send the top 5 boys to the Tiffin Regional.  The top 4 from the Colonel Crawford district will advance to the Chillicothe District.

The rest of the Putnam County League Boys and Girls track and field teams were assigned to the Ada District.

The Ayersville District will be held Thursday May 19 and Saturday May 21.
