Do you or your business or organization have stories our readers should read?
Learn how to do both at “The Dispatch On Tour: How to get your news and views in the newspaper” hosted by Opinion and Engagement Editor Amelia Robinson.
The project is in partnership with Columbus Metropolitan Library.
Sessions are as follows:
- 10 a.m. Thursday, March 24, Main Library (96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus) , Room 1A
- 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, Whetstone branch (3909 N. High St., Columbus ), meeting room
- 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12, Martin Luther King branch (1467 E. Long St., Columbus), meeting rooms 1, 2 and 3

The sessions are designed to empower people with stories and opinions to share with the confidence and tools needed to get in front of Dispatch readers.
Robinson will discuss how to submit press releases, news ideas, letters to the editor, guest columns and other information for consideration to be published in The Dispatch and on Dispatch.com.
“Our goal is to provide platforms that allow people to express ideas and share information for the betterment of the community,” she said.
