Cedarville is in! Jackets No. 6 seed in Midwest

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship for the first time in school history.

The Yellow Jackets are the No. 6 seed in the Midwest Region and face No. 3 Hillsdale in the first round on Friday at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio.

The schools are two of four G-MAC institutions to qualify for the regional along with host and top-seeded Walsh as well as No. 7 Findlay.

Walsh will play GLIAC Champion and No. 8 Davenport while Findlay takes on No. 2 Ferris State.

GLVC Champion Missouri-St. Louis is No. 5 and battles fellow conference member No. 4 Truman State.

Semifinals are set for Saturday with the championship on Monday.

The winner advances to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight in Evansville, Ind.
