Barber Named Ohio, YCAR Realtor of the Year – Business Journal Daily

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Deborah Barber, a veteran real estate agency with Altobelli Real Estate in Niles, is the 2021 Ohio Realtor of the year. The award was presented by the Ohio Realtors at the organization’s 111th annual convention and expo in Columbus.

Barber was nominated by the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors, which also named Barber its Realtor of the Year.

“I am so very honored to be chosen to receive this prestigious award,” she says.

Barber has been a real estate agent since 1986 and is active – locally, statewide and nationally — in industry leadership. The statewide award is based on professional achievements, involvement with local association activities, business experience and civic participation.

Barber also is active in her political party and her church. She has earned professional designations as an accredited buyers representative and a certified residential specialist.

Ohio Realtors, with more than 36,000 members, is the largest professional trade association in Ohio.
