Meghan Markle is seen breaking down in tears in the explosive new trailer for their £88m Netflix docu-series.
The streaming platform released a new 60-second teaser this afternoon for the couple’s documentary before it debuts next week.
In one snapshot moment, the mother-of-two, 41, who relocated to Montecito, California, after quitting the Royal Family, is seen sitting on a sofa next to her husband after they appear to receive some upsetting news.

As Prince Harry leans back on the sofa in exasperation, the former Suits actress gazes down at the floor before wiping back tears.
It is unknown when the footage is taken or what caused the outburst of emotion but the trailer indicates that it was filmed in the aftermath of the couple stepping down as senior working royals in January 2020.
Elsewhere in the clip, Harry’s voice is heard saying, ‘no one sees what goes on behind closed doors’ just before the image flashes up, with others showing Meghan cradling her baby bump and dancing with Harry at their wedding.
In another undated moment, the Duchess is seen gazing lovingly at her husband and wiping away a tear as she’s driven away from Prince Harry.

A third clip in black-and-white shows the Duchess curled up on an armchair with a £1,260 Hermes blanket.
She is pictured with her head in her hand as she holds up her phone – although it is not clear if the Duchess is breaking down in tears or overwhelmed by happiness.
The advert could hardly come at a worst time for William and Kate, who are on the second day of a visit to the US which has been overshadowed by a Buckingham Palace race row.
The clip opens with a producer asking ‘why do you want to make this documentary?’ before more than a dozen photos flash up of Harry and Meghan sharing time together, along with one image of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Sussexes have been paid a rumoured $100million (£88million) for the fly-on-the-wall series, which has left the Royal Family braced for more damaging accusations from the couple.
It comes at an unhelpful time for the Prince and Princess of Wales – whose US tour got off to a tricky start yesterday after a scandal over ‘racist’ comments made by Lady Susan Hussey at an event hosted by Queen Consort Camilla.
Ngozi Fulani said she felt ‘interrogated’ by Lady Susan about what country she came from, despite being born in the UK and stating multiple times that she was British. Officials said they were taking the incident ‘extremely seriously’.

The couple’s docu-series lands on Netflix next week. While it’s unclear on exactly how much of their home life the couple were prepared to share, they certainly did let Netflix cameras trail them on public appearances in 2021 and 2022
The series if expected to air next Thursday.
