OHIO WEATHER

2 N.J. towns are among the best Christmas towns in America, Travel and Leisure

The holiday season is upon us! This means cold weather filled with warm moments spent with friends and family along with festive decorations in every sight.

After naming the Jersey Shore as one of the best 50 places to travel on Earth, Travel and Leisure recently named Cape May and Atlantic City as two out of the 25 best Christmas towns in the U.S.

And rightfully so as there are numerous town squares in New Jersey flourishing with endless holiday cheer — illuminating light shows, Christmas trees, joyous activities and holiday markets.

Cape May took the No. 21 spot, as the magazine highlighted establishments like the Washington Street Mall and the Original Fudge Kitchen. They also mentioned the annual Winter Wonderland at Congress Hall that holds several holiday events like Santa’s workshop, the enchanted vendor village, plus train and carousel rides.

At No. 23 is Atlantic City, with its sparkling holiday decorations among the luxurious atmosphere. Travel and Leisure praised Tropicana Hotel’s tree lighting and holiday music show held at The Quarter along with the 2nd annual Atlantic City Holiday Bazaar at Noyes Arts Garage at Stockton University.
