COVID-19 hospitalizations data continues to flatten in Wisconsin


Total COVID-19 patients hospitalized per day

Data from state agencies shows a flattening of COVID-19 case count and hospitalizations in Wisconsin.  

The seven-day average of daily cases is 1,464, which was a slight increase throughout the week starting June 19, but still less than the averages during the week starting June 12, according to the state Department of Health Services.

The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 385 COVID patients, which is an increase of one patient from the week starting June 12 to the week starting June 19.

  • New deaths reported (Friday), confirmed: 6
  • New deaths reported (Friday), probable: 5
  • New deaths reported (this week), confirmed: 19
  • New deaths reported (this week), probable: 13
  • Number hospitalized: 385 (intensive care: 55); up 53 patients from a month ago
  • Seven-day average of daily cases: 1,464 (down 438 cases from one month ago)
  • Seven-day average of confirmed daily deaths: 3 (up two deaths from a month ago)
  • Seven-day average of new deaths reported within 30 days of death: 2 (even from a month ago)
  • Seven-day average positivity rate: 11.7% of all COVID-19 tests given
  • Total cases since the start of pandemic: 1,511,639
  • Total confirmed deaths: 13,117
  • Total probable deaths: 1,650
